Ah, Marbella. The sea, the sand, the sun. It’s clear you’re in the Costa del Sol. You cannot be unhappy in an environment like this.
And your personal environment will also bring you joy. A coffee on the terrace, a nap in the beautiful bedroom, a state-of-the-art recording booth. These are just some of the highlights of this magical space.
Beyond this are the excursions to stunning villages, towns and sea shanties.
Whether you’re here for a few hours to record or a few weeks to explore, I highly recommend this oasis.
Tap into Tranquility
Life is slow here. Siestas are real - everything closes in the afternoon, so you can take a nap. Live in tune with nature, which is everywhere -- in 3 minutes you can be on the beach watching the sunrise, or in the mountains, surrounded by birdsong. It's a gentle place, where the sun shines, on average, 320 days a year.
Eat Well
The Mediterranean diet is the healthiest in the world. Enjoy tapas of fresh fish and jamon at a chiringuito (beach restaurant). Or, cook at home in our well equipped kitchen with organic fruits and vegetables grown by our neighbour. Most of the world's olive oil is produced here, as well as exquisite cheeses and wines.
Feel Active
The desire to explore is irresistible -- you'll be lured down miles of coastal paths, into the cobblestone streets of white-washed villages, and up mountain trails. And if you enjoy yoga, cycling, watersports, golf, tennis, or equestrian activities, this is your paradise.
Experience Spain
Spain is passionate and proud of its traditions. You can feel it's pounding heart in everything -- the food, the fiestas and especially the flamenco, a folk music and dance art that began here almost 500 years ago. Andalusia was home to artists and writers including Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Federico Garcia Lorca and Ernest Hemingway.

Sarah Bingham
This is my wife and life partner of 17+ years. She's British, and we lived in London for the first chapters of our life together. Sarah loves to cook, play tennis and hike in the mountains. She's a gifted coach, passionate about mental health.
April Doty
This is Me! There's already enough written about me elsewhere. Here I'll just say -- we love Marbella and we want to share it with you. Whether you need peace and solitude, or the friendly company of other creative people, you can find it at our place.
Lucy Roo
Cuddly and cunning, Lucy is a 9 year old Brittany Spaniel, who just wants to chase cats and birds and run wild. When inside, she is planning her escape. One guest lovingly dubbed her a "sneaky little angel", which is just perfect. She will steal your heart.
Paradise Studio is a unique combination of wonderful things. You’re in a beautiful part of the world with reliably superb weather. You’re in a calm and tranquil setting with a pool, and an immaculate, spacious house that has absolutely everything you need. You can stay put and want for nothing, or – as my partner and I did – you can take some amazing road trips.
We visited the lovely old town in Malaga, as well as Seville, Granada and Cadiz. Paradise Studio is a fantastic base for all of this, as well as being really close to a great beach. You have superb hosts – April and Sarah are warm, welcoming and thoughtful. Great entertaining company but offering you complete peace and privacy when you want it.
Then there’s the studio – a fully kitted-out, clean, modern, professional space, absolutely ready to use. April’s a hugely experienced and skilful narrator who knows the industry inside out, as well as being able to make the technical set-up a breeze. So it’s a great place to come and work in a relaxed, focused, positive state of mind.
Paradise Studio was the perfect spot for my working retreat. There, I was truly rejuvenated by the gorgeous environment, incredible food, fascinating history, and restorative pace of life.
I was really able to slow down and enjoy the beautiful Costa del Sol without having to stop taking great work opportunities that came my way— I did directed sessions for Penguin Random House and Macmillan, recorded books for HarperCollins and Podium, and recorded an episode of my podcast in the fantastically well-equipped Studiobricks booth.
I was also able to make great headway on several writing projects in the tranquil space provided which allows for indoor and outdoor creativity, lots of beautiful walks and inspiring adventures, and the gentle, supportive, unobtrusive companionship of April, Sarah, and Lucy. I forever have the perfect sweet escape in Paradise Studio. I can’t wait to return!
